Julie Brockman, LMT, RT, CKTP

Julie Brockman, LMT, RT, CKTP is a licensed massage therapist and a member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP).


 She graduated from the School of Holistic Massage and Reflexology in Downers Grove, Illinois. 


Julie opened Touched by Jules with a vision to create a center for healing. Her primary intention of her healing work is to assist individuals on their path to a higher level of health and well-being.

Julie is personally committed to the care of each of her clients and in each case develops specialized treatments that best meet their needs. She works with clients who have a wide variety of ailments, from athletes who want their muscles to perform better to clients who simply need relief from their stressful lives. She specializes in Sports Therapy, Injury Rehabilitation and the relief of chronic pain patterns. Julie has been providing personalized care to her clients since 2006.

She enjoys mixing a variety of techniques such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger point, Myofascial release, Lomi Lomi and stretching to create a massage that is fitting to each client's wishes and health. She can move slowly and deeply or with lightness and fluidity. Many clients have reported entering a very deep, relaxed state with Julie’s style of massage.

Julie offers the following services: Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Therapeutic, Reiki, Swedish, Sports, Lomi Lomi, Reflexology, Seated Chair Massage, TMJ Release and Kinesio Taping.

Annamae Beal, LMT, CR

Annamae Beal, LMT, CR, is a Licensed Massage Therapist and is a member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP).

She graduated from the School of Holistic Massage and Reflexology in Downers Grove, Illinois.

Annamae has chosen Massage Therapy as her profession because she finds working one-on-one with each client very fulfilling and rewarding.  She has a mindful, nurturing touch and a relaxed, professional presence that allows her to work well with a variety of clients. She can customize any session to the client's specific need from simple relaxation, deep tissue, and trigger point to various other modalities.  She has a very strong belief in the mind, body, spirit connection and power of each body to heal itself and feels massage therapy is the front line of health care. 

She has been working with athletes for over 3 years, primarily runners, helping them achieve their personal training and fitness goals.

Annamae offers the following services:   Deep Tissue, Sports, Therapeutic massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Swedish Massage, Reflexology and Raindrop Therapy, Aromatherapy and Pregnancy massage.

Iris Zhao, D.C., M.S.O.M.

Dr. Zhao is a board certified and licensed Chiropractic Physician in the state of Illinois. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Indiana University at Bloomington. She went on to pursue her interest in chiropractic and successfully completed her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL. Dr. Zhao also has completed additional post-graduate education and training in nutrition, functional rehabilitation, and the McKenzie Method. Dr. Zhao is a member of the American Chiropractic Association.

Dr. Zhao also obtained a Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine at the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL as a Salutatorian. In addition to traditional Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs, she is trained in the use of other modalities, including cupping, guasha, moxa, and tuina. Dr. Zhao has successfully treated a wide variety of conditions, including acute and chronic pain, anxiety, depression, insomnia, menstrual irregularities, symptoms relating to menopause, headaches, digestive complaints, common colds, fatigue, variety of skin disorders and many other conditions.

Traditional Chinese Medicine

Traditional Chinese Medicine includes the practice of Acupuncture, Chinese herbology, Asian bodywork therapy such as Tui Na and Medical Qigong, and other accessory techniques including Cupping, Moxibustion, Gua Sha, Electro-acupuncture. It is a comprehensive health care system encompassing a variety of traditional complementary and alternative healthcare therapies that have been used for more than 3,000 years to diagnose and treat illness, prevent disease and improve the overall well-being of an individual.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is one of the essential elements of Traditional Chinese medicine. It is one of the oldest, most commonly used healing practices in the world, originating in China more than 3,000 years ago. It is the stimulation of specific points on the body which are located along “meridians” by insertion of very fine, sterile, stainless steel needles to elicit a predictable physiological response. These points relate to the functioning of different organs and are used to promote the proper movement of “Qi”, or the energy in your body, for healing of a variety of disorders.

Chinese Herbal Medicine

Chinese herbal medicine includes use of natural substances such as plants, roots, minerals and more. It is used to harmonize imbalances in the body and to enhance patient’s overall treatment plan. Herbal medicine include hand selected Chinese herbs that are combined and formulated specifically for each individual patient as well as finished herbal products that contain active ingredients from parts of plants.
